Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign Up" in the top right corner or visit our signup page. You can create an account using your email address or sign up with Google for faster access.

Once you sign up, you'll receive free trial credits to start coaching immediately.

What's included in the free trial?

Every new account receives free credits to try both text and voice coaching. You can:

  • Have unlimited text conversations
  • Try voice coaching sessions
  • Access all coaching features
  • Save and review your conversation history

No credit card required to start.

Using Text Chat

How do I start a conversation?

After signing in, click "Chat" in the navigation or go to your dashboard. Simply type your question or describe your business challenge in the message box and press send.

Buba remembers your previous conversations, so you can continue where you left off or start a new topic anytime.

What kind of questions can I ask?

Voice Coaching

How does voice coaching work?

Voice coaching lets you have natural, spoken conversations with Buba. Click the microphone icon in the chat interface to start a voice session.

Speak naturally about your business challenges, and Buba will respond with voice guidance. It's like having a real coaching call, available 24/7.

When should I use voice vs. text?

Use voice when:

  • You want to talk through complex problems
  • You're feeling stuck and need to think out loud
  • You prefer speaking over typing
  • You're multitasking and can't type

Use text when:

  • You need detailed written advice to reference later
  • You're in a quiet environment
  • You want to carefully craft your questions
  • You prefer reading over listening

Are voice sessions transcribed?

Yes! All voice coaching sessions are automatically transcribed and saved to your conversation history, so you can review the advice later in text form.

Credits & Billing

How do credits work?

Buba uses a credit system for usage:

  • Text messages use a small amount of credits per message
  • Voice sessions use credits based on duration
  • You can see your credit balance in your profile
  • Credits never expire

How do I purchase more credits?

When you're running low on credits, you'll see a notification in your dashboard. Click "Buy Credits" to choose from our credit packages:

  • Starter package for occasional coaching
  • Growth package for regular use
  • Pro package for intensive coaching

All packages offer better value as you buy more credits.

Can I get a refund?

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. We want you to be completely happy with Buba.

Account Management

How do I update my profile?

Click on your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Profile" or "Settings". From there, you can update your name, email, password, and other account details.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the sign-in page. Enter your email address, and we'll send you a link to reset your password. The link is valid for 1 hour.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom to find the "Delete Account" option. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. All conversations are stored securely, and we never share your information with third parties without your consent.

Who can see my conversations?

Only you can see your conversations. Your coaching sessions are completely private. We don't use your conversations for marketing or share them with anyone.

How do you use my data?

We use your data to:

  • Provide personalized coaching based on your business context
  • Remember your conversation history
  • Improve our coaching quality
  • Send you important account updates

Troubleshooting

The chat isn't responding. What should I do?

Try these steps:

  • Refresh your browser page
  • Check your internet connection
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser
  • Sign out and sign back in

If the problem persists, contact support.

Voice isn't working. How do I fix it?

Make sure:

  • Your browser has permission to access your microphone
  • Your microphone is working (test in other apps)
  • You're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Your speakers or headphones are connected and working

I'm not receiving emails. What's wrong?

Check these common issues:

  • Look in your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Add our email to your contacts or safe senders list
  • Check if your email inbox is full
